Too often the atten-tion given to men as a group is overwhelmingly negative and non-supportive. On this night, as a community of New Yorkers and New Jersey-ites, we will come together to celebrate men, man, manhood, fatherhood, mentors, children, marriage and more as it pertains to men.
The theme of this year's International Men's Day is "Our Chil-dren, Our Future..." As you look around into the faces of the youth and adults in your daily lives, remember they are watching you for the positive images of manhood they need as they become the leaders of tomorrow.
